"I love the old quarries in Singapore. Most have been flooded and now host fish, water plants and fish-hunting birds. People used to swim and fish in them before the no swimming and no fishing signs went up to preserve life and limb. Now they are wonderful spots to bird watch in the day and gaze at the moon at night.
This piece captures the feeling of peering into the green waters and playing a game of animal, vegetable or mineral with the view."
