"Tropical flowers can be dangerous. Some are deadly to eat, others give you a rash when you touch them. But I find the carnivorous flowers the most fascinating.

There's a large field near my home rich with wild grasses and the insects and birds they support. Red and yellow pitcher plants have taken root and spread little cups of intoxicating liquid across the clay. Using a torch at night you can see sparkly-eyed insects cavorting towards a drunken doom.

This piece celebrates that spirit of reckless abandon when we shout let's have fun and hang the consequences."

Care Instructions

To ensure that your framed print lasts for a long time, don’t keep it in direct sunlight or outdoors. It can be gently dusted with a soft, dry cloth or a feather duster.

To the best of our knowledge, these are the Geckojoy products that contain the chemicals on the list:

1. Framed Prints and Unframed Prints

These products can expose you to chemicals including Carbon-black extracts, which is known to the State of California to cause cancer.

Carbon black is used to make the black colour in pigments, paints, plastics, paper, inks, lacquers, cements, coatings and ceramics. 

2. Outdoor Pillows,  Outdoor Pillow Cases, Athletic Long Shorts and Athletic Short Shorts

These products can expose you to chemicals including Abiraterone acetate, which is known to the State of California to cause birth defects or other reproductive harm.

The chemical is used to make fabric water-resistant. If you don't plan to use the pillows outdoors, you can choose any of our other pillows which are made from a different fabric and don't contain the chemicals.

3. Vintage Caps & Distressed Hats can expose you to chemicals including BBP and/or Lead, which is known to the State of California to cause cancer and birth defects or other reproductive harm.

Cost

Shipping costs are calculated at checkout. In general, we use standard shipping to keep your shipping cost down. Most of our shipments are tracked. However, different products may have different fulfilment centres or packaging and so ship separately.

Speed

If you need something fast, please contact us before ordering so we can advise you. However, do note that all products are made-to-order so might be a week or more in production before leaving our facility.

Destination

We ship worldwide but there are some destinations we don't or can't ship to. Add something to your cart and enter your shipping address to get the shipping cost and check if we ship to your destination.

Returns

We accept returns on retail items* up to 30 days after delivery. Items returned unused, unwashed, undamaged and in their original packaging will qualify for a full refund excluding all shipping charges and customs fees.

Before checking out please check any relevant size guides and product details. We do not offer exchanges at this time.

Printed colors may be different from your screen colors. We do not accept returns on personalised or custom items. 

Customs fees may need to be paid on arrival. Checkout charges will not include these. Please check with your local customs authority.
